Refund Policy

Effective Date: November 30, 2025

At Sarah the Homesteader, every item is crafted with care. We want you to love what you purchase! Please review our policy below.

1. Perishable Items (Baked Goods & Canned Goods)

All food items are final sale because they cannot be returned once shipped or picked up.

No refunds are given for:

  • Change of mind

  • Taste preferences

  • Missed pickups

  • Carrier delays

2. Handmade Items (Crafts, Blankets, Decor, Etc.)

We gladly offer replacements or refunds if:

  • Your item arrives damaged

  • The wrong item was shipped

  • There is a clear craftsmanship defect

Timeframe: Notify us within 72 hours of receiving your order.

To process a claim, email us at info@sarahthehomesteader.com with:

  • Your order number

  • Photos of the damage/issue

  • A description of what happened

3. Exchanges

Exchanges may be offered for non-perishable handmade items if the customer pays return shipping (unless the error was ours).

4. Cancellations

Orders may be canceled before they are baked, crafted, prepared, or shipped.
Once the item is in progress, no cancellation is available.

5. Shipping Issues

We are not responsible for delays caused by USPS, UPS, or other carriers.
If a package is lost, we will assist you in filing a carrier claim.
